It's all around us, we use it every day, yet no one thinks about it-
it's LIGHT and "The Light Show" will be your introduction to the science surrounding this crucial form of energy.
A fascinating and visual look at the many properties and uses of light, the program begins with a brief history of light usage starting with the sun and including Edison's first light bulb. We then explore what it is, how it travels and it's practical applications. Light's properties, speeds and devices used to bend, aim and distort it are discussed.
Other topics covered are invisible forms of light and how light can make our lives safer.
Demonstrations include strobes, infrared, ultra violet, fiber optics,
