Save Our Oceans / Live Animals
We live on land but share our planet with a huge variety of sea life. Many animals like amphibians, turtles, crocodiles, and others, live on both land and sea. In this program, we explain the links between ocean and land animals. The importance of protecting our ecosystems is explained in this fascinating program which features a variety of live animals. Saving the world's oceans can help feed the nine billion people projected to be on earth by 2050. By conserving water, reducing waste and pollution, we all can help to save our oceans.

Sailing Our Oceans / Starlab Planetarium
Long before, GPS, early navigators created surprisingly accurate navigation techniques based on the sun and stars. Because constellations change seasonally, mariners had to know which constellations were visible in the sky at different times of the year in each hemisphere. Even modern Apollo astronauts used celestial navgation to chart their way to the moon and back.
Enjoy the night skies from the security and comfort of your library. Our portable, inflatable Mylar Starlab dome inflates easily at your location, bringing a star-filled planetarium to your site.

Under the Sea / Concert
From "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" to "Baby Shark Dance", which has over 8 million views on YouTube, children love songs about streams, lakes, and oceans. This fun, interactive concert features songs about sailing, ships, oceans, fish, sharks, and more.

Comic Art Fantasy! Live Drawing Demonstration
The Little Mermaid, Aquaman, and other ocean-themed characters have entertained children for generations. In both animation and comic book form, fish, mermaids, and underwater super heroes are often the stars. This unique library program is presented by Marvel Comics illustrator Jerry DeCaire. As quickly as the eye can follow, art and fantasy are created in this fascinating, live drawing performance. Marvel Comics characters illustrated by Jerry include, but aren't limited to, Thor, X-Men, Wolverine, Conan, Punisher, Iron Man, Nick Fury, the Phantom, and more!

Caribbean Steel Drums
Come sail away with us, across the clear, blue waters of the Caribbean to exotic islands and sandy beaches. Caribbean music is as rich and diverse as the culture from which it came. Rumba, Salsa, Reggae, and Calypso are just a few examples. Caribbean Steel Drums will send your audience on an adventure through the islands on a colorful cloud of musical celebration. This interactive concert is a unifying experience of singing, drumming, dancing, and excitement that promotes peace and understanding as offered by musical African and American contributions to the world in celebration.
